Registration of the school and event is compulsory.

List of Competitions, Rules and Regulations

SR. Group (Grades VII-X)

Reporting Time – 9:00 AM

Group Singing (Indian)

__ no. of participants (Minimum 2 and Maximum 8)

Reporting Time- 9:00 AM

1) Only one entry per school is allowed.

2) A team has to present, one folk song.

3) Maximum 8 participants (inclusive of any accompaniment) in a group and the number of accompanists playing instruments shall depend on the no. of singers.

4) The group song should be classical/semi-classical/devotional/folksong of Indian origin in any of the Indian regional languages.

5) No film song shall be presented as a group song.

6) Maximum time allowed for the group song is 5 minutes which does not include setting time of 4 minutes.

7) Judgment is on the basis of quality of singing only and not on make-up, costumes and actions of the team.

Group Dance (Free Style)

2-8 Participants (only recorded music will be allowed

Reporting Time: 9:00 AM

    1) Only one entry per school is allowed.

    2) Maximum 8 participants allowed per team. The team may consist of boys & girls or maybe  both.

    3) Only recorded music is allowed for accompaniment.

    4) The dance can be a primitive folk dance /(Indian Style) /contemporary(fusion)   but not Indian or western classical

    5) The duration of dance should not be more than 5 minutes.

    6) Three copies of a brief note giving the theme and the text of the song if any, is to be submitted along with the entry form at the time of registration.

    7) The participating team is responsible for removing and setting the props immediately after the completion of their performance.

    8) Judgment is based on the basis of rhythm, formation, expression, costumes, make-up and sets on the overall effect.

    9) Time for sets/ instruments setting is a maximum of 5 minutes.

    Jr. Group (Grades III to VI)

     Reporting Time – 2:00 PM

    Group Singing

    (Minimum 2 and Maximum 8)

    1) Only one entry per school is allowed.

    2) Maximum 8 participants (inclusive of any accompaniment) in a group and the number of accompanists playing instruments shall depend on the no of singers.

    3) The group song should be taken from classical/semi classical/devotional/folk song of Indian origin in any Indian regional Language.

    4) No film song shall be presented as a group song.

    5) Maximum time allowed for the group song is 5 minutes which does not include setting time of 4 minutes.

    6)Judgment is on the basis of quality of singing only and not on make-up, costumes and actions of the team.

    Folk Dance of India

    1) Only one entry per school is allowed.

    2) Maximum 10 participants allowed per team. The team may consist of all boys or all girls or a mixture of both.

    3) Only recorded music is allowed for accompaniment.

    4) The dance can be either a primitive or a folk dance (Indian Style) but not  classical.

    5) The duration of dance should not be more than 5 minutes.

    6) Three copies of a brief note giving the theme and the text of the song if any, is to  be submitted along with the entry form at the time of registration.

    Clay Modelling

    (Play Dough) (2-3 participants)

    Theme: Under water life)

    1) Only 2 to 3 participants per team and only 2 teams per school will be allowed.

    2) Students need to bring their own materials. & Colours can be used to give an effective finish.

    3) Participants cannot use any pre-prepared elements.

    4) Duration will not be more than 1 hour 30 minutes

    5) Size and other specific rules shall be announced on the spot.

    Fireless Cooking

    1. 2 members should be in a team to participate in the event.
    2. Only 2 Teams per school.
    3. Participants should not bring any pre-cooked items.
    4. Pre-registration is mandatory.
    5. Participants are supposed to display a chart having the name, ingredients and calorie count for each dish they have prepared.
    6. All the items required for cooking should be brought by the participants themselves including water. Only a working table will be provided.
    7. Dishes should be purely vegetarian.
    8. Participants should not bring any cut, chopped or grated raw materials. They should process it on the spot within 1 hr 30 min time.
    9. Participants can bring non-electric equipment like chopper, juicer, grater etc., 10. The evaluation will be based on the taste of the dish, nutritional level, cleanliness, presentation and unique name of the dish.
