After the successful event in 2021, we are pleased to inform you that MISA is back with its second ‘MISA Luminous Spark – 2022’ conference on Research Paper/Article/Review for students (IGCSE-Grades IX & X, A Level & IBDP) as well as teachers (Primary, Secondary, A Level & IBDP)

Background

Members of International Schools Association (MISA) is a vibrant and welcoming learning community, committed to creating the best possible educational experience for not just learners but also for teachers and school leaders.

“Innovative & Advanced Multidisciplinary Research” is the central theme for ‘Luminous Spark’ event 2022.

‘No research without action, no action without Research.’

This research conference aims to:

• Equip each learner with required skill sets to become an asset.

• Inculcate research skills i.e. talents related to investigating, analyzing, formulating & communicating knowledge in each learner.

• Use these foundational skills to broad fields of business, scientific & academic pursuits.

• Develop original knowledge using techniques such as observation and experiments to become global- competent learners.

The central theme consists of the following domains for learners:

IBDP And Cambridge A Level:

• Reliability of Wearable Sensors in Health Care Monitoring
• Forensic Accounting in combating global corruption
• Economic measurement of medical errors using Actuarial Sciences
• Future of economy: Knowledge economy or Agrarian Economy?

• Airborne Vehicle Communication System for Traffic Surveillance.

IGCSE:

• Contribution of Computational Systems, Modeling and Simulation in Medical advancement
• Impact of Leadership in Business Management
• Digital Marketing: Small Scale Industries Vs Large Scale Industries

• Role of Military Communication in empowering Defense System of a country

• Improvisation in Underwater Communication for Disaster Management

• Career security of Indian Sportspersons (Global Champions)

Format:

There are 3 categories in relation to the above-mentioned topics–
1. A Level
2. IBDP
3. IGCSE (Grades IX, X)

“Domains for Teachers”

• AI Technologies for education: Recent Research and future directions
• Differentiating leadership from Management: An empirical Investigation of Leaders and Managers
• Mental Fitness: Importance of frequent counselling for teenagers
• Shift in the Role of teachers in the teaching- learning process impacted learners during the Covid-19 Pandemic?
• Forensic Accounting: A study of its role in investigating corporate frauds and scams in India
• Artificial intelligence and its impact on Value Creation
• Scope of Novel Therapeutic Drugs in combating Covid-19

Format:

There are three categories in relation to the above-mentioned topics–
1. A Level
2. IBDP
3. IGCSE (Grades IX, X)

Validity and Credentials for Research Paper:

•  The Research paper once selected by the Technical Team will be published in the special technical magazine under Indian Scholar Journal.
• Selected papers will be published after 1 month from the date of presentation.
• Each paper will be assigned a Volume number and unique ISSN number in the technical magazine.
• The paper will be available as an open source on their website with its validity of more than 7 to 8 years from the date of publication.
•  Plagiarism is an important factor which will be required for each paper. The plagiarism percentage for each paper should be less than 10 percent.

Research Paper Evaluation Criteria:

• Originality (Plagiarism check)
• Abstract
• Bibliography: Impact value of Research resources
• Relevance of data collection in the research conducted.
• Presentation with in-depth knowledge

Technical Committee Selection Criteria:

▪ This committee will be responsible for the selection of Research Papers which will then be presented by the students in the conference.
▪ Teachers/experts who wish to apply for ‘Technical Committee’ can register themselves by clicking on the link mentioned in ‘Registration Details’.
▪ Selected candidates shall be informed by MISA via Email.

• INR 2000 per participant for the selected research papers. (For Learners)
• INR 2000 per participant for the selected research papers. (For Teachers)
